Данный специальный выпуск журнала посвящен 70-летию члена-корреспондента РАН Дмитрия Ивановича Трубецкова, одного из ведущих ученых в «нелинейном сообществе» России. К юбилею ученого его коллеги, известные специалисты в области сверхвысоко- частотной электроники и нелинейной динамики, представили в журнал статьи по своим последним наиболее значимым результатам.

This article comment experience of making electronic book­archives, that was composed by self­writing reminiscence of Physics Faculty MSU graduating students 1952. The general review presents contribution of the generation in creating the second world Superstate.

This article considers events in which great Scotchman J.C. Maxwell played principal role  and the significance for the evolution of the world culture, which cannot be overestimated. There are two anniversaries in 2014: first, 150 years of the publication of his final work on the theory of the electromagnetic field, and second, 140 years of the organizing Cavendish Laboratory under his leadership, becoming the world centre of science. Questionable dates associated with these events are discussed.

This paper is devoted to the noisetron creation history in 1967 – the chaotic oscillations oscillator consisted of two traveling wave tubes (TWT), contacted successively in ring. It is shown that the noisetron creation is the result of the work on HF noise generation in the systems electron-ion plasma–electron stream, which was fulfilled in V.Ya. Kislov’s laboratory. This work was initiated by the theoretic investigations on the interaction of electron stream with electron-ion plasma, fulfilled by V.Ya.Kislov in the period of 1956...1960 years.
