INFLUENCE OF TERAHERTZ ELECTROMAGNETIC RADIATION ON THE FREQUENCY OF ABSORPTION OF MOLECULAR OXYGEN ON BRIGGS–RAUSCHER OSCILLATING REACTION

In the article the description of the influence of electromagnetic radiation on the frequencies characterizing the maximal absorption intensity and atmospheric oxygen radiation on the process of Briggs–Rauscher reaction has been provided. It has been shown that the radiation increases the time of the oscillation regime more than for 20 % in comparison to an unirradiated flask because of the intensification of the process of oxygen selection.

METHODS OF OUTPUT POWER INCREASING IN OROTRON WITH DOUBLE- ROW PERIODIC STRUCTURE IN THE SHORT-WAVELENGTH PART OF MILLIMETER-WAVE RANGE

The peculiarities of the orotron double-row electrodynamical system and methods of output power increase were investigated. For the first time in the experimental model of orotron with electrodynamical system consisting of double-row plain periodic structure (DRPS) and sphere-cylindrical focusing mirror the possibility of using wide electron beam in order to output power increase in 140...300 GHz frequency range is demonstrated.

STUDY OF CHAOTIC REGIMES OF COLLECTIVE ELECTRON DYNAMICS IN SEMICONDUCTOR SUPERLATTICE IN EXTERNAL RESONATOR

The paper deals the external resonator effect on collective electron dynamics in the semiconductor superlattice. Numerical simulations have shown that semiconductor superlattice which is characterized by only the regular oscillations in autonomous regime demonstrates chaotic microwave oscillations in the case of interaction with the external electrodynamical system. This phenomena gives a strong potential for novel applications of semiconductor superlattice requiring microwave chaotic signals.
