Extended abstracts

Nowadays the relevance of articles in scientific journals is determined mainly by the possibility to quickly obtain information about thematics, type and main results of published papers from Internet. From 2014 journal “Izvestiya VUZ. Applied Nonlinear Dynamics” started to place all primary bibliographic information and short abstracts on its website both in Russian and English. However, size of such abstracts was not enough to understand main results of published papers. Therefore, Editorial board suggested to increase the size of abstracts to 200-250 words. This will allow to reflect results of articles more thoroughly. Additionally, publishing extended abstracts is demanded from all journals applying to be included in SCOPUS. “Notes to Authors” were changes accordingly.
