ELEMENTARY THEORY OF INTERACTION BETWEEN SPACE CHARGE WAVES AND ELECTROMAGNETIC WAVES FOR THE TRANSVERSECURRENT TRAVELINGWAVE TUBE

Analytical theory for the transversecurrent travelingwave tube has been created with the use of successive approximations method. Interaction between space charge waves and electromagnetic waves has been examined. Numerical calculations have shown that the inclusion of the backward wave significantly changes the pattern of interchange of energy – there is a shift of zero values of reactive interaction power by p=3.
