Vladimir Grigorievich Yakhno, chief of Laboratory of Autowave phenomena in Institute of Applied Physics of RAS (Nizhny Novgorod), Dr. of Scienses in physics and mathematics. Scientific interests cover phenomena of selforganization in distributed nonequilibrium systems and use of autowave theory for modeling and processing sensory signals, development and improvement of computer algorithms for image encoding (including development of boimetric systems), investigation of model systems, which imitate functions of live objects.
